Room is cozy and clean. Motel style accommodations with heated indoor pool and fitness center. Pet friendly and close distance to restaurants, pharmacies and the water/beaches. Free parking.

I went in the hotel for 3 nights and I really thought it was going to be a nice experience, but me and my friends got scammed by the staff at the end. During the 3 nights period, nobody came to clean the room, and after we left, they charged me 150$ of room cleaning on the deposit. I've called the hotel and ask for explanations but they don't have any, only the manager knows. And I've been trying to reach a manager for more than a week but everytimes I'm being told that the manager is not working today. 
I wouldn't recommend this place for their way of doing business.

I’ve visited this place several times with no problems.  Not sure if under new management but this last visit continues to be a nightmare. Problem # I requested a specific cottage and was assured my request would be honored, so, I made the reservation.  Upon arriving, I found out that it hadn't been and was placed in one surrounded by woods. My view out every window was overgrown brush.  Problem #2 At night I was bitten by insects in the bedroom as I slept and was told that mosquitoes were bad this season so requested the area be sprayed. That day was out anniversary so we stayed.  At night, the bites continued to the point that my arm was extremely puffy, red and itchy and we had to leave early because of it.   My doctor said it was probably a spider bites which is very believable because my husband killed one in the bathroom. Problem #3 When we checked in I paid the balance in cash but here a day later, I see my debit card has been billed for the balance.  UGH, then I had to wait days for the return my money.  The lady who checked me out was rude and they did not refund me for the night we would not be staying.  She did not apologize for my inconvenience of needing to leave early so that I could see my doctor for numerous bites and did not want to supply me with the manager’s name and number.  She  finally did but I don't plan contacting him as she made it VERY clear that he wasn't going to return the funds.

By far, the worst experience I had in the Maine. I'm a surfer who comes regurlarly on the coast and this motel was deplorable. I strongly advise you to not go to this motel.
