Buyers beware!!! There’s a reason why Sears and K-Mart are going bankrupt!! Purchased a fridge for 1442.00 from Sears on Merle Hay Rd in Urbandale, IA. I measured the fridge and my space. I take ownership I measured wrong and the fridge didn’t fit. However, not only did the delivery people take the new fridge they took my old one too! They refused to bring it back into the house explaining they already took it apart. I called customer service at 10:30am who apologized and said it would be back within two hours. Made multiple more calls nd by 5pm it still wasn’t returned. I have 400.00 worth of food ruined!! Went to Sears do you think they offered any assistance with my having no food. Nope, initially refused to even refund my order! Finally, I got my money back, well in 2 days it will take for the refund to go though, but I’m still out the 400.00 in spoiled food!!! Oh, and now NO fridge until I can get the refund back in my account to use a reputable appliance store!!

WHAT A SCREWED UP PLACE!. They want ALL your information including your dogs name to freaking buy something! Although after all I went through to buy a tool chest I thank you RETARDS! They had a 3 piece combo and all I wanted was the bottom and middle piece. I paid for it and went to pick it up. They tried to give me the bottom and top piece which was more expensive. I went back up front to correct it. And AGAIN had to give ALL my info, address, tele number, e mail and so forth because AGAIN they had NO record of it. I got my refund for the cheaper version and they still GAVE ME THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONE on accident! Gawd what a bunch of idiots. Took me 1.5 hours to buy a freaking tool box!.... I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

Don't order parts direct online!!!  DON"T DO IT!!!  I ordered a part that was "in stock for pickup tomorrow" as I ordered after hours.  No pick up email at 4pm the next day.  Went up there, closed for another 5 days.  Called the manager, they can't do anything as it's a separate entity.  Called the corporate parts direct number and they said they couldn't help me as it was already sent to the store (IE the order itself).  They couldn't cancel it or anything.  Then the supervisor hung up on me after telling me I would just have to wait until the store opened.  Went and found the part I needed elsewhere and will be filing a dispute with my bank as no one seems able to cancel the order at the store or corporate, nor can they get me my promised merchandise.  (Manager at the store was at least pleasant to talk to, can't say the same for corporate)
