Too bad there's no selection for 0 or 1/2 a star. This place is known for terrible customer service, completely unprofessional attitudes & incompetent employees. I've been shopping at this Sears over 20 years now, but after today I'm done. Every time I have come in to shop at this location there is always some issue & then the staff scrambles to figure out what to do or how to do their job adequately. I don't want to blame the cashiers & service reps tho, I've been in that position & know it's not them. No, I blame the idiots in management that set these poor people up to fail and in the process anger & alienate loyal Sears customers & their family members. Apparently today is friends & family day, which I had no idea about. After checking my account online & seeing I have surprise points I wanted to use them on a socket tray, so I drove to the location to buy it in person & look around. Not until I check out do I know it's friends & family night, nobody telling me that when I walked in or a sign to show it, not that I saw anyways. I'm then told that because the store forcibly gives you 15% off today I cannot use the points with that or instead of it. Oh, but of course regular points will work, just not the surprise points I have... I don't know, that sounds like a bait & switch type scenario to me: do what you have to in order to get them into the store, then change up the rules later and watch 'em squirm. After wasting 15 minutes of my time standing around with a bad back, trying to figure it out, I'm told "yeah, no, there's nothing we can do. Do you want to come back tomorrow?" Like I have nothing better to do then be inconvenienced by other people's incompetence... Great job Sears, you just lost another 20+ year customer with your nonsense & stupidity. I hope they can get it together, but I think the writings on the wall with Sears Roebuck: the ship is going down. I'd expect them to be out of business within the next 5 years, given the experience of dealing with them these days. What a shame...

At the end of September, I bought a Powersmart snowblower from the Sears on-line website. I did not put the snowblower together right away because I did not need it yet. However, when I did put it together and went to use it, I noticed a metal piece on my garage floor. Not knowing about these things, I went ahead and put oil in my new snowblower only to have it leak out. So, I realized that was the part that had fallen off. In order to not make this review pages long, I will say that POWERSMART would not fix my snowblower or refund my money because it was out of warranty 2 months later. Finally I was told to send it to a place that Would fix it under warranty only to get a phone call from them that they could not fix it but they would take the charge for having had to pick it up and deliver it back to me. Oh, and by the way, the deliveryman must have really dropped the snowblower hard when it was delivered because the frame was also bent!! So be warned, please do not buy a POWERSMART product from Sears because everyone has told me they have never heard of POWERSMART, therefore cannot help to fix it and POWERSMART will not help either. All being said, I am out close to $300.00. Sears would not assist me either or back this product because they only sell it, like if I were to buy something from Kohls that was not a Kohls product. That's really what they told me.

Horrible customer service. Phones ring and ring and then disconnect after computer generated hold. Repair department rude and unhelpful.

Store is not as large as Woodfield or Oakbrook but this can be an advantage in some cases. You can avoid the crowds and get in and out quicker. Sales taxes are less here. The tool section is well stocked and appliance section has a lot of models on display.

The worst costumers service ever, Tried to get in contact with someone about an order online and no response no call back nothing for 2 days, waste of time. If you plan on ordering something to the store do yourself a fave and order for pick up at another location!.
