SCAMS AND RUDE Completely terrible! Bought a sewing machine for my moms birthday and turns out she already has one. So I went to return it for my money back w/ no receipt bc I had just moved and lost it in the move... and even tho it is upopen and and never touched they basically told me that Im stuck w/ $400 sewing machine thats never going to be used ever.

During payment the cashier guy asked me to have a card. I said if it is store card I can take it but repeatedly said that I don't want credit card. He said it is a store card, and while making an application he screwed. He gave a phone number o call. I said not necessary just paid and left. Then I saw in my credit history a hard inquiry I made from Sear. I don't understand Why they do this?

Ridiculous policy when it comes to returns and exchanges. I couldn't even exchange a pair of jeans with all tags attached because I didn't have the receipt.

Purchased a lawn mower craftsman professional on May 12 by June 15 it wasn't working. Called sears and they wouldn't do anything. I called 17 times the store in Wayne before someone answers!!! How is that possible. They wouldn't do anything and sent me to a repair center. Had it repaired and still isn't working. Called sears 22 times before someone answered!!!! They won't do anything, I have to go through a process and call corporate. I will never ever buy anything again from sears and I will make my job to tell everyone how bad this place is. The employees are rude and not customer focused. Manager drives policy not options for customers. The employees in this store are terrible. I have never seen such a disconnect towards how customers should be treated. Manager in lawn and garden has a terrible attitude. I watched him on 3 occasions how he interacts with customers. No wonder the employees don't care. Go online and see how many complaints about warranty problems as well. #sears #outdoor #lawnmower #departmentstores #powerequipment #landscaping #homeowner
