Sesame Seed Restaurant

What happen to the "Great" Sesame restaurant... the worst serve I ever had in a restaurant... Me and my wife ordered, I ordered the veal dish and my wife ordered a shrimp dish. 15 minutes into waiting for something to happen a young girl not my waitress tells me they don't serve veal anymore, ok , so I ordered the trout dish. Minutes later our salads come my wife had sesames on her salad my did not. No pita bread serve even though ever table had a bowl of pita on it. Our waitress comes with our food and it was delicious. There was nobody in the place on a Friday night which didn't surprise me, this is not a very welcoming place. Our waitress was how can I say it dirty looking and there was no atmosphere or sense of happiness in the place. We've been going there for years and this staff of servers are the worst I ever had seen ..... But the food taste great... compliments to the chef....

Food was delicious, service was great, and the decor was eclectic. Will definitely visit again.

We've been here twice. First time, all went well. Decent Middle East inspired dishes, and decent selection of vegetarian fare. On our second trip, our two year old committed the apparently unforgivable offense of playing with the sugar packets...not opening them mind you...but taking them out and separating them by packet-color. Someone in command, I presume the owner, came over and in a "shaming" tone, you know the kind of tone that only the most "metro" of metro-hispter-pants-cuffers is capable of, declared "we really can't have her touching all the sugar packets". As he hurriedly gathered them, some Purell we were cleaning her hands with (sugar packets are like ketchup bottles, after all) dripped in one of the (empty) packet holders; you would think we sullied it with bodily fluids...again shaming tone. On that note, my wife made up her mind this would be our last visit. As for the food this go around, it was fine, with the exception my wife was not fond of her grilled salmon. To some extent, this is her own fault for ordering salmon at Middle Eastern inspired restaurant. So, all in all, if you don't have children, or if you do, but somehow you have the only toddlers not immediately drawn to sugar packets, this is a decent place. Just don't order the salmon.

Given wrong menu and then waited so long we left. At the time restaurant was not that busy. Expected Arabic food, but the menu said the shawarma was "ground." Limited Arabic menu. Just as with the last reviewer it was a Friday night.
