Sounds like a great place to stay we didn't have the opportunity to stay there because they would not accept my wife's service dog because he is a Bull mastiff. He is the most friendly animal I have ever met and loves everyone. He is protective of kids and loves other animals.

Best value for big-rig overnight stay. Been here twice. Pull-through sites are long, wide, fairly level, and heavily wooded. Easy access from I-10.

We enjoyed our stay at Shady Acres. Charlie was very accommodating. The campground was clean, shower house dated but worked fine. We only stayed one night. The road coming in was not a problem for us in a 34 foot RV with a tow vehicle. Yes the right hand turn off Military was a bit sharp but not big deal. Would stop again if in the area.

Great place to camp out with the family. Water front with a dock and boat ramp. I have seen beautiful sunset from the dock swings.

Very nice staff. The park was maintained well and seems like a nice part of town. No playground or pool but was perfect for an overnight spot.
