We stayed for 30 days for Christmas and New Years. This park was only a couple miles from family, so we booked a year in advance. Our only request was a open, satellite friendly site. Upon arrival they escorted us to a heavily treed site blocking the southern sky! We asked to be moved but the manager refused, saying they were booked up and had no other sites available. She actually said we need to contact our satellite provider! To what, cut down the trees! She did say we were welcome to leave, without refund! While enduring our stay without satellite and very spotty over the air reception. We counted no less than 20 available sites that would have accommodated us! The management were unwilling to accommodate our request not because they couldn’t but because they wouldn’t!  Very disappointing and will never stay here again!

We have been at Shady Acres for 7 days. It is a very nice park and the people are very friendly. We thought the pool would be done but it is not. We are only staying for 2 weeks this year so we may not get to use the pool. We plan to come back next year.

What ever you do not book your vacation here. I booked here was to arrive on Feb 1st gave them a $400 deposit had to have my transmission fixed on my motor home was not able to get there until Feb 12th they called me Feb 9th most rude person his name was Ivan demanded payment that day and said if I do not pay in full they are going to cancel my reservation and keep my deposit. My wife and I were so upset we cancelled our whole trip they do not care about you only your money all campers beware and stay clear of this place the worst experience that both my wife and I have ever had I hope Shady Acres is happy they have my deposit now do not even consider this place stay away!

I give them 3 Stars only because there pool is not completely done. But there entertainment was very good and also BQ was great

One girl at the front office was the worst! Site 9 when we got there was next to what she called a demo trailer with debris all over! The perm people were the best but the poor management and a pool under construction was more than we could handle.
