I echo the comments below.  Shady Lane is a very small, convenient campground near the freeway.  Despite the location, the campground is very quiet.  The trees are wonderful, especially in this dry area.  Granted the campground is very old - so do not expect modern facilities.  Despite the age, everything is clean and well maintained.  I'm glad I stopped here for a couple of nights.  Five stars because of the staff and the work they do with the facilities they have here.

GREAT stop for the night. We have stayed here several times on our drives in and out of California and have never been disappointed. It's a charming little park, quaint and simple - but so accommodating and reliable. It is family owned and they are so nice, never an issue when booking, checking in or pulling into a spot. There are some full timers there, but everyone is super nice. Book in advance during the winter months as this place is no longer a secret and does fill up quickly. 

50 amp, cable, sewage and fresh water.

I did not stay the night there (mom did) but i spent some time there and walked around. Everything is very clean including laundry room. Easy hookups and getting in and out is easy. Very quite and not far from Super Walmart, Starbucks and other stores.

Level spots. Tight spaces and parking. Old facilities. Nice guys running the place. Wouldn't wanna stay more than a night or two.
