These days it seems like you’re either team Shake Shack or team In-N-Out. Both are great burger options, with shake shack having a lot more verity in their menu. The Shake Stack is my personal favorite burger. It has a mushroom in gooey cheese, deep fried on top of a beef patty. The cheese fries are amazing. I’d prefer these over In-N-Out fries any day although I do like animal style fries. I also tried the “Hot Ones” fried chicken promotional burger today. The chicken was solid, but the picture made it seem like it was covered in hot sauce… but it was literally just the regular fried chicken with a spicy Mayo sauce. Would have liked it to have a lot more spice but it was still solid. I really like Shake Shack, but if I were to pick between here and In-N-Out, I would pick the latter as the prices are unmatched. Shake Shack is a bit over priced in my opinion compared to its competitors. Overall if you are looking for a good smash burger, give Shake Shack a try, but be prepared to spend a bit more then your usual burger joint.
Conveniently located near the Third Street Promenade but far enough away that it’s not crowded with people. Food was fresh and very tasty. Staff was extremely friendly and thorough. They made sure our order was correct during ordering and upon delivering it to the table. The restroom was clean and only available to paying patrons Key code required for entry. Great little experience for our family while wandering around and exploring the area. We will definitely be visiting again.
Visiting from Australia. The only thing the lady at the counter wanted was for me to write great feedback. Sorry. My fries were cold, limp, and greasy. Had to ask for a replacement. You would have thought I had asked for a blood donation! Replacement fries were Luke warm. The hot dog was gross. Pathetic, tiny, steamed bun and a sausage that gave me heartburn. The outside seating area was dirty, with food scraps, paper towels strewn about. I very rarely write 2 Star reviews but, sometimes, it has to happen.
Pop quiz: Does the ticket order match the sandwich given? If you said no, you would be correct! I’m hungry and at work, so I have no time to take it back. The sandwich might be good, but because I hate pickles…it has a nasty taste. Just double check order’s please.
I went to california during thanksgiving and was in LA for some Black friday shopping for one day! Had to hit up my Shake Shack before leaving LA because Shake Shack is my absolute fave! Never had any real issues, just perfect in my eyes EVERY SINGLE LOCATION! I ordered my usual shack burger with fries and a side of cheese. I double check with the older gentleman taking my order as people assume cheesefries instead, he nods in assurance. I get my receipt and it doesn’t say anything about the request of cheese sauce on the side but he has charged me extra for a side of cheese and cheese fries. I talk quietly about the mistake with my friend i figure whatever its all good more cheese doesn’t hurt anyone haha but one of your workers overhears the conversation after a little back and forth he persists and insists to make things right! Your team really didn’t have to do that but it was appreciated nonetheless. I got the order sorted out correctly but myself and your worker profusely apologized to one another! I want to extend my gratitude to everyone at this location! I can’t imagine its easy work considering it was pretty busy when all of this went down! Come to this location!! The people here are angels and the food is great!!!
The location is convenient. They have free parking. Seems like a person in a wheelchair could have easy access. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Food was excellent. The prices for all their hamburgers we're around $10. There's only one or two offerings for people who don't eat beef. But the chicken sandwich was excellent. Parking: Parking was next to the restaurant. Access was from 5th Street. There were approximately 20 parking spaces two of which were handicap spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: The parking the entrances from the parking and the dining areas and the place where you would order from are all on the same level so even though I don't use a wheelchair I imagine it would be a easy to have access from a wheelchair.
My His experience at this location was horrible right from the get go. Customer service was horrible buger was gross fries over cook and burn pieces. It may a long to come to this location. Definitely needs improving in all areas of this restaurant..the location in west Hollywood is the best one I been in l.a. ... I understand this is location has not been for long..
Shake Shack might have the best burgers in the country.... since they have international locations maybe even the world.
Best fast food burgers and shakes! Their buns are so good, but I would recommend to try your favorite burger in lettuce wrap as well. We’ve tried both strawberry and chocolate shakes and are having hard time choosing which one is best as they both compliment the burgers perfectly!
Shake Shack is always amazing good food. Very well presented. This location was clean. Definitely poppin. Staff was....alright. A tad bit disconnected, but I get it I guess, it's Santa Monica. If you know you know. They were all still attentive to customer needs. Overall a good place to hang out and have some good food.
