This is a great place for buying and trading coins. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable when it comes to coins. After comparing prices for comparable coins they were much more reasonable for the ones I purchased. Always friendly and informative I would highly recommend to anyone interested in collecting valuable rare coins.

AVOID like the plague! This place is a glorified cash-for-gold shop in one of the nicest neighborhoods...nothing on display, no sales whatsoever. Only bright spot is his wife who is super friendly and very pleasant. Owner is unable to verify authenticity of morgan dollars and is very rude.

After recently inheriting a small collection of gold jewelry and some coins, I shopped around the East Side of Cleveland for a place to sell my items. I was reluctant to part with a few of the pieces, but the offer from Shaker Coin and Jewelry was the best. The owner was extremely personable and I would definitely recommend this store to anyone!

I had some coins and jewelry I was interested in selling and found Shaker Coin & Jewelry in Woodmere through a Google search and also knew a few friends who recommended Jim Irwin, the owner. The level of professionalism and experience I encountered was beyond compare! I had a rough idea of what my items were worth and Jim and Hedy explained the current market prices and the value and I felt I received a fair, honest price. Their knowledge and long history in the business provided me with a strong comfort level during the valuation process and subsequent transaction. I highly recommend Shaker Coin and Jim and Hedy Irwin.
