I took my wife here for Mothers Day & it was awesome. We had the salmon & mint on flat bread with goat cheese & also the soft shell crab sandwich. Our waitress was very helpful...she recommended the toast with grilled apricot & some kind of cheese... she nailed it...everything was delicious... I had a Bloody Mary & my wife had something with Mezcal. First time here and we’re definitely coming back. Pleasantly surprised!!

This place is amazing! Each dish is clearly well thought out and perfectly balanced. The cocktails are out of this world. Perfect place for a date or a group dinner and even the brunch menu is refreshingly delicious. Don't forget to grab a bottle of their homemade hot sauce on your way out.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Oakland! Always great food, warm atmosphere, amazing drinks. Love the fried chicken! Happy hour has top notch small plates.

Getting seated even with a reservation is hard or at least with a wait during the weekend. It is a popular place by locals and the food is great and atmosphere is very appealing to it's diverse community. Go with a group or enjoy your meal at the bar, both will offer satisfaction.

Quite a bustling street. Shakewell has a couple tables outside, a long bar inside where people also eat lunch, and tables along the Back wall. Lunch combo, nice wine list, reasonably priced. Good for sharing. Clean. Trendy.
