Honest Review: Please do not come here, first of the food just lays around in the back, when you enter from the back door u see the cooked food uncovered. They also serve old food, they use day old food, they just heat it up. They are super unsanitary, today I ordered butter chicken from them, and I found MULTIPLE PIECES OF PLASTIC IN MY FOOD, It’s actually gross, and if you are going to eat here, please be aware.

Being in Edison , shalimar is a special place .. they are open quite late .. if we suddenly get hungry at 11 pm on weekends - no worries .. we have shalimar ! Love their naans and chicken curry . They have different options even at midnight .. biryani isn’t the best here .. chai is good . Mostly like their non veg items . Veggie is ok ok . Shalimar is the only place we go , if it is late and nothing else to eat : thanks shalimar owners ... kudos.. customer service is very average .

Mutton biryani was not upto the mark. It is not as tasty as other restaurants would be .But it was the only option available after 12:00 AM.

Honest Review! We mostly order food from Shalimar for all our occasions. Last week, we ordered food for 50 people and we have asked opinion of everyone and all loved it. Lamb chops were exceptional. The food was so much, that you can serve over 100 people.  Its really Pakistani lovers food. The front staff is super helpful and kind. We have spent over $2000 but its worth of every penny!

The freshly made lamb chop $16 is very tasteful! It’s the best, so is chicken kabobs, fresh and juicy! But the chicken biriyani is cold-warm, do not feel fresh even the the buy one and get one half price is a good deal , I won’t order their birayani again.

I wish other spots stayed open late like these guys do. I sometimes have to get naan to take back home I live far away from here, and I can always stop by here on my way home from NY to get naan. I had a few other items on the menu, and they were decent. I haven't had a chance to try other things.Food: 4/5

If you are searching for standard quality mughlai Pakistani food in cheap cost, this is the best place to go. This restaurant is open 24/7. You can get some great 'to go deals' such as 12 chicken sheekh kababs for $15 / 2 chicken biriyani and 2 chicken seekh kabab for $13/ 1 chicken biriyani with 1 chicken sheekh kabab and raita for $7. Only thing is you have to pay by cash if total bill is under $20.

Great place for late-night food. Available 24 hours. Shalimar grill offers everything the original Shalimar offers except for the Chinese food. But after 10pm, they're your best option for halal dining on oak tree road.  Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and non-vegetarian  Parking: Plenty of parking in the back of the plaza

Food taste was awesome and quality and quantity is to good and its a good place to visit and enjoy your lunch and dinner
