Best South Indian place. Their hospitality is 10/10. Food is absolutely delicious. They serve you unlimited sambhar. Prices are so reasonable. Must go. I highly recommend this place to you all!!
With little doubt, I’d say that it’s yet another South Indian places to dine in. The food is indeed good, but so are the other restaurants competing around the place. What gave this one less star is the fact that the food is slightly overpriced, the premises a tad bit less tidier and the orders were delivered a bit later than usual. I’d not call the dosa batter authentic to South Indian cuisines, but it wasn’t bad either. Overall, it earns a star less than the other two South Indian eateries in Oak Tree road, but it still earns three for the convenience it offers.
The food was done to perfection- best if you dine in. The rava dosa, masala dosa, and podi idlis were all so satisfying. Had them pack some idlis and upma to take home- they were good too. The chutney went bad quickly. Service was swift. Free parking opp the restaurant. Wonderful dosa spot in Edison! Over 100 different varieties with delicious self serve sambhar! My favorite is the unique jini dosa made and served just like the original Bombay roadside style - but everyone on the menu is excellent and authentic taste. Medu Vada were fried light and crispy to perfection. All chutneys are also excellent flavor. Enjoy!
Perfect no frills spot. If you know this place then you know you’re coming for the food and the friendly service. As the name states they serve dosa but the menu also includes idly and vada. I tried the cheese masala dosa and the masala dosa and both were huge servings enough to feed two people we also ordered idly and the sauces provided were savory with a nice spicy kick to it. The dosa filling was so delicious and seasoned to perfection. The restaurant still offers the self serving soup and a huge pitcher of water on every table for when the spice needs to be taken down a notch. The tables where clean and service was fast. If you’re looking for a quick bite come here and warm up with their soup and yummy food.
Dosa were very good. We tried there chefs special dosas. Gini cheese roll dosa were okay but guru special and triple masala dosas were very good. They have self service for sambhar which is convenient so we have to ask waiter for it. Would definitely go again
Had to quickly choose this restaurant as it was the only South Indian restaurant that was open on Presidents Day morning in Oak tree road. The food was delicious right from Dosa to Poori, Idli and Vada. The quantity of the filter coffee was also more in comparison to the other popular restaurants. The bearers were courteous and friendly. The only reason I’ve taken a star down is for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the place, in addition to the wait time the for food to be served.
A good place with lots of vegetarian food options. They also serve jain food on request you have to mention no onion. Their chutney tastes also very authentic with a reasonable food price. Their sambhar is freshly made and you can have it unlimited with one dosa purchase. Overall this place deserves 8/10
Taste is okay for the price. I found this shop is for breakfast. They are opening the shop early in the morning 9AM. I don’t find any other Indian restaurant opening at this time. Ordered mini tiffin, masala vadai, poori, idli, one masala tea.After had the food got very deep sleepy. They can improve the food taste and Ambience.
It was awesome. Lovely cosy place. Authentic South Indian food. Family loved this place. Must visit.
