I have been working with the property management team of Signature Real Estate for several years now. In choosing a management firm to represent an owner(s), it is most important the firm is up to date on current real estate laws, home owners association rules, state, county and city real estate guidelines. 
Not only have I found Signature to be up to date, but always attentive in offering the proper assistance in  dealing with homeowners association daily business. Including the challenges of the nature of the business.
Based on my experience I can only highly recommend them.

I've been using Signature Real Estate as my property management company for the past 5 years. It's been a pleasure to work with them, first with Mark, then Shannon. My work requires me on business trips a lot, so it is a big relief that Signature could keep me updated about everything and be responsive all the time. There were of course some bumps over past years concerning properties and tenants, but I am glad Signature usually deals it well and in time.

Using Signature Real Estate as our property management company over the past 2.5 years was a horrible experience and one of the worst decisions we ever made.  To start off, it took 5 months to find tenants for our property. During that time, we had to drive all communication with our property manager, rather than him proactively reaching out to us. Once we got a tenant in the property, communication got even worse. When there were major repairs needed to the property (I.e. heat out during a snow storm), our property manager would send us a casual email rather than calling us. This was after we repeatedly asked him to call us instead of emailing so that we could respond more quickly to the tenant’s needs.  After the property manger would send technicians to the house for repairs, we would never hear updates. Often a week later, we would have to reach out to him for an update. When we finally decided to put our house on the market, our property manager’s level of service decreased even more when we notified him we would not use him as our agent. During this process, he called us (basically screaming) accusing us of turning the tenant’s power and water off before she moved out. After conversations with the utilities companies, it turns out the tenant cancelled service too early on her own. Once the tenant moved out, he delayed handing the keys off to our agent, thereby delaying our ability to list the property. Our agent found several issues with our property that were not included on Signature Real Estate’s check out form (I.e. large hole in master bedroom door, broken light bulbs). Bottom line, do not use Signature Real Estate for your rental needs as there is a severe lack of communication and follow-through.

My fiancé and I moved to Winston Salem in 2014 and fell in love with the very first property we found. Luckily for us it was managed by Signature, and we hit the jackpot with Shannon as our realtor. She is AMAZING!! I can reach out to her by phone, text, or email 7 days a week and she ALWAYS responds within hours (if that long). She is knowledgeable, proactive, fast acting, professional and 100% thorough!! We couldn't have asked for a better company and partner in home living. Since our very first encounter everything just felt right and worry free. If you're looking to rent or buy Signature Real Estate has you covered. If you're a property owner you should have peace of mind knowing that your property management is in the best hands in town!!

My wife and I spent our first wedding anniversary in one of the beach houses that Signature Real Estate owns and rents out. 

We were both blown away by the house (beautiful interior design and a ton of amenities) as well as how easy the process of renting the house was with Signature Real Estate. Would highly recommend any of their properties in Ocean Isle Beach! Will definitely be doing business with them again for our anniversary this year. 

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
