Stayed here just about a year ago and it always comes back to my mind as one of our better camping experiences. The owner is incredibly friendly. We had the place to ourselves which was a change from most camping near national parks. The bathrooms were clean which was a huge plus. Sooo quiet and peaceful. Hoping to come back again soon :)

We stayed here twice during our tours of Utah's parks. It sticks in my mind as one of the better places we stayed. The owner is memorable, and it is such a peaceful spot. Kind of cool that it is next to the Fremont River. Not being from this part of the country, I enjoyed seeing how it varies based on upstream weather conditions. I recommend it for people that prefer an isolated ambiance versus the fancy distractions like swimming pools that one can find pretty much anywhere, so my rating is based on that kind of orientation.

This campground was a welcome site when we needed a place to stay. The owner was very friendly, the rate was reasonable as it included a shower in the cleanest bathroom I had seen on the trip. Our campsite had wooden barriers that blocked the wind off the desert. It was just the ticket for us when the Capitol Reef Campground was full. RECOMMENDED.

Came for one night, stayed for 3. Holiday weekend with packed Capitol Reef campgrounds, we came back to Sleepy Hollow intending to stay only the one night and move up to the NP campground. We got a great welcome from the owner, Forrest, and he shared with us the creations he makes with Selenite. With this personal service and care, there was no reason to move on. Great spot to get to Capitol Reef and other points nearby. Spectacular country. Thank you, Forrest!
