You really got to read the small print in their ads. They had canned soup for 99¢ but the small print said I had to buy 12. Out of stock on some of the on sale TV dinners, other dinners on sale were limited to 2 types out out the 7 they had there. I did find a $1.79 deal on cereal without having to buy a bazillion. Their 1st Street ice cream tastes good for the $2.50 price. I really don't shop here enough to compare other items and prices

I had went in to shop. The store lacks of poor cashiers. Not enough. There were two managers ringing people up along with another cashier. I got in line in which it was one of the managers that was charging. Her name was alma. Even though there were VERY long lines, she was very fast and friendly to all of her customers. She would greet them and thanked them after they left. She wanted to get the customers in and out of the store.Very fast cashier in fact I think she gives better customer service than the actual cashiers.

This Smart & Final is not as clean as the others in the Bay Area.  They don't sweep/mop the floors often and the store reeks of old fish & poultry.  
I recommend going to other Smart & Final stores.

Worst customer experience ever. The worst part is that it wasn’t with a cashier, it was with one of the managers named rosie. DO NOT SHOP HERE! She is very racist! She sent me to another line while she was ringing people up and would only let Latinos in her line. Yes I’m Asian but as an former assistant manager I know how customers are supposed to be treated and that was very disrespectful. She wouldn’t let me speak and would talk back.I will contact customer relations regarding this incident.

This Smart & Final Extra is great, the remodel is great, large selections, the Manager Oscar is great i miss him at the Redwood City store .
I was visiting friends in San Jose, i was surprise
To see Oscar at that location.
