I ended up at this salon while shopping in Walmart one day. I was in tears after having left a previous salon where I was treated horribly and told my hair could not be fixed for less than $250. We decided to see what this salon would say. Carmen right from that day was amazing. She looked at my rainbow hair (bleach gone wrong), felt it and asked what we wanted. I explained what I was attempting to do and she immediately had an idea and the price was almost $100 less. I went home and called her almost immediately and got an appointment for the next day. She was so nice and understanding and did not make me feel horrible for attempting to do it myself. She took into consideration that I had to pick my son up from school, although I didn’t make it in time we tried, and was just as excited as I was to see how it looked. When I saw the result I was thrilled!!! I have been attempting to find a stylist to do this for 3 years and it never turned out right. A month later and I’m still getting compliments on my hair and I still get butterflies in the morning when I see it. It’s everything I had hoped for and more!!!! Carmen is amazing and has such a talent.

I have been going to Smert Style for many years. 
When my favorite stylist left I tried Carmen. She did a fabulous job and now she is my go to person for haircuts, highlights and anything else I may need. She had been doing my hair for over 2 years and I absolutely love her! 
My son wanted to get his hair trimmed before leaving for college. He asked to go to Smart Style and have Carmen trim it. He has been to other places and asked for a trim and they cut way too much. Carmel always listens to what you ask for and does her best! 
When I leave Smart Style I feel just as good as I did when I went to one of those individually owned and expensive salons!

Only place I will get my hair done. Carmen is absolutely fabulous and she is pretty much the only person allowed to touch my hair!

Carmen, the Smartstyle employee, denied our service here bc of the texture of my daughter's hair.. Upon arrival I was told that there was a 20 minute wait.. When we returned (18 minutes later), we were told that she could not shampoo and condition my 2 girls hair bc she forgot that she already had an appt.. I told her that we could wait.. Mind you that the ppl she's speaking of have not arrived yet.. She got upset and kicked us out of the salon instead of just admitting that she didn't feel comfortable doing African American hair..
