Smashburger

Salt, salt, and more salt. That's all I could taste. I had the black bean burger and it was mushy and over salted. My husband had the beef patty on a avocado club house burger and it was overcooked and over salted. There was no attention to the placement of burger toppings. All the pickles in my burger were stacked together on one side. All the avocado slices on my husband's club were haphazardly jammed into one side. The smash fries were just alright. The server, Cathy, was the highlight of our visit. Very friendly and personable. She ask how our food was, I told her honestly that she was the best thing about our dining experience that day. She apologized and got the manager even though we didn't ask to speak to her. The manager gave us a coupon for use on our next visit and offered to have them remake our food. We hadn't eaten all day so we were already finished by this point so we declined the offer. I didn't catch the managers name but she was awesome as well. Perhaps we'll give it another chance in the future, but only because the people there seem to care that you have a positive dining experience. ☆☆☆☆☆ for front house staff.

Better than steak-n-shake, I ordered the classic smashburger with Swiss cheese. It was juicy, good flavor and thoroughly cooked. Fresh tomatoes, pickles, lettuce and onions on top. The only real drawback was the price. The combo price should be lower, because the burger itself was over $5 add combo price over $4, surprise now you just bought a $10 lunch. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the burger.

Their black bean burger is seriously amazing! I miss this place! I wish JBLM had a smash burger! Best burgers ever :D
