If you are a natural, stay away I had the worst experience at this salon. I went to this salon to get a trim I was referred by a friend who I just found out doesn’t go there anymore because of the poor service.  My texture is 4c (very kinky) and the stylist I believe her name is Aveda is not properly trained to do natural hair.  I arrived at 11:00 and didn't leave until almost 3:00 PM.  I was left under the dryer for 1 hour (deep conditioning should only take 20-30 min) and when my conditioner was rinsed out placed back under the dryer another 15 min.  By this time my hair was bone dry.  Then she commenced to use a very hot blow dryer to straighten it.  Mind you I have very kinky hair so you could image the tugging and pulling that was going on.  The blow dryer was so hot it was literally burning my scalp.  Afterwards, she hot combed and flat ironed my hair before I received my trim.  Who does this?? By the time I left my hair smelled so burnt and I was afraid that I was going to suffer heat damage.   If I didn't have an event that evening I would have left there after the dryer fiasco. I have never experience such poor service at a salon before.  The damage that you are doing to your natural hair customers is unbelievable.
