Have been going here for years. Love being able to walk in and get down home favorites in minutes. Their fried fish is seasoned to perfection and when I'm going for a healthier, steamed option, they do not disappoint.  Even better though are their catering services. They have prepared food for many of my family functions and the food is always ready when they say and tasting right - all for a fair price!

The food was solid. It didn't wow me but it was solid, grade a, comfort food. Not overly complex, not overly greasy, solid food. Definitely good for a rainy day, picnic, or pot luck.

Soul Food Kitchen has a wonderful variety of soul food to choose from. The staff is respectful and courteous.  They're reasonably priced and their portions are generous.

To start off, this place was absolutely HORRIBLE !!! not joking. I went there and the food looks old, the place looks like a mess, their food is saggy and most likely left overs . Not fresh at all. totally ridiculous and that's not even all. I decided to still try their food. Got my food, went home and my rice tasted like chemicals was inside my food not to mention my chicken was half cooked. Inside the chicken was so bloody I  immediately got sick and threw the food away. I wasted $21.00 dollars on food that was so sickening. I've never in my life went to a restaurant and had this experience. Honestly I would not recommend anyone to this restaurant. This place needs to be closed down or have a new staff or something because it is horrible. Best believe that's my last time there.
