Loved it!  Great, hip vibe. Bartending staff friendly and efficient. Specialty drinks super fun,  had the Lulu. Wait staff, Par, took his time explaining dishes, truly interested in making sure our first trip to South House we got the best.  Food was delicious, got the fried chicken and ribs. General manager Eddie, super gracious. Loved the decor: the music artist photos, antique lamps, couches, every detail. Everyone was having a great time, highly recommend to all to check  it out.

We would give this a 5 if not for dry brisket. Great drinks. The old fashioned, mango voodoo & lavender mint mule were delicious! Great location & vibe. 👍

Awesome spot! Great menu, craft cocktails and a great drink menu. My girlfriend said it was the "best mule I ever had", and she's lived in Texas. Amazing food; southern comfort at its finest. Definitely try the brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, burgers, etc. Good music, cool people, overall great spot. Downstairs has games and a bar too.

Drinks and vibe here are great. They have a really cool basement with games and sometimes have bands upstairs. I wasn't too impressed with the food when I ate there but we go back often to just hang out. Be aware that this place gets really packed on Fridays and Saturdays

Great place for a night out to see and be seen.  The bartenders I have interacted with there have all been top notch.  The basement is a nice cozy spot with table games, but gets packed very quickly and sometimes bouncers stop people from going downstairs to enforce fire code.  Overall, a great place to hang out with friends.
