This place it's like the hardware store used to be in my neighborhood when I was young. The gentlemen and ladies here are so helpful and eagerly explain things and how to do them.

Funny how all the 4 and 5 star reviews are from White people.  I've never experienced Racism like I did yesterday 1/30/2017 while looking for some screws. The Guy there asked me if they were for a "GUN", then went on to tell his co worker who was only trying to assist me  "NOT TO SPEND TOO MUCH ENERGY ON THIS GUY". As well as a lot more I don't care to repeat until later on when I have to. Well I'm going to spend some energy on exposing this Racist establishment that has no place in a city as diverse as San Pedro.

This store is small, but mighty. Selection is enough for basic needs ranging from buying paint to buying a hammer. However if you're looking for paper shades for windows, you may need to go else where because I was shopping for that and they don't carry it.

On a positive note, I had a great experience of having my keys duplicated. The key making station is located in the back of the store, there's not really a sign, but when I asked a staff member, she told me that she'll meet me there in a moment. Less than 5 minutes later, I was out the door with 2 extra keys. Prices were good, about $3/key.

Service was great, small parking, on a clear day you can get a glimpse of the ocean! This will be my go-to place for getting duplicate keys!

We waited a long time for a great hardware store to reappear in this neck of the woods.  This is a tremendous store, with all the tools and products you might need for most home projects.
