I started running a little less than a year ago. At the time I didn't have a proper pair of running shoes. A friend recommended I get "fitted" at a local running store. When I arrived I was greeted promptly and I explained I wanted to see about getting shoes that we're correct for me. The guy helping me took a look at my feet, had me run across the store, etc. He told me what shoe he thought would be best and gave me a few similar options. His top choice is what I went with and my body is loving the change. Pricing is also on point. Locally owned and supports the community!

This place is awesome. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. I been struggling to get the right pair of running shoes and so I decided to go to South Sound Running. It was a great decision on my part. I was given a running assessment then asked a few questions then the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn came out. Highly recommend this place.

Super knowledge base to help me find the correct running shoe. I was having terrible pains in my feet from a previous purchase a large sporting goods store. This personalized attention was so worth the trip. They have my return business for sure!

I stopped in today and had my first actual running shoe fitting. I recently started jogging after years off, and after an injury scare-- crisis averted-- I wanted to be certain I had the best shoes possible. The associate who assisted me (and whose name I've forgotten-- I'm so sorry! She's the associate who only works at the Oly store one day per week) was incredibly helpful, thorough and informative. I walked out with a pair of Brooks Ghosts and hit the treadmill for 2.5mi as soon as I got home-- they're perfect. Prices are comparable to other stores, but the customer service and wealth of running knowledge here are priceless.
