Dr. Levine and his staff are amazing! We took my 5y.o golden retriever mix there after having some dizzy episodes that were quite severe. He really knew what he was talking about and explained everything to me so I would understand. On top of that, he worked so well with my dog, which made it easy to leave her at the office for the day for an MRI and other tests. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone I know!

Bless these animal lovers! Prompt, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable care for our critically ill dog. Highly recommend! The doctors Levine are incredible and cared for our shorty, rough coat Jack Russell like their own. (He's doing great!)

My dog was treated here for k9 meningitis. They did an MRI and found that he had the 3rd worst case they had ever seen. They did manage to fix him, however the follow up treatment of him and us has been completely unacceptable. They refused to schedule an appointment to refill his prednisone because they claimed we had rescheduled too many time. We live over 2 hours away and we have rescheduled a couple times due to work issues, and at the time of rescheduling said it was perfectly find and they looked forward to seeing us. We then got a call saying to call them back and reschedule our appointment because they had different times available now, when we called back, because they asked us to, they gave us the news that we could no longer see the veterinarian because of the scheduling issues. When they looked up how many times we had rescheduled they out right lied and said we had rescheduled 6 times. We have every appointment, rescheduled or not, on our calendar and we did not reschedule more than 2 times. They never indicated that rescheduling in advance would be a problem. We offered to pay for the missed appointments, even though we were told it was fine to reschedule at the time. They refused and said that we'd have to go to our primary vet to continue treatment and the would no longer treat my dog. We pleaded with them and the only thing they said we could do was come in and wait and they would see if they could fit him in but they couldn't promise that they would be able to fit him in. Mind you we live over 2 hours away. We have spent literally over $10,000 with SCAN, we gifted Dr. Levine a bow tie and have conversed for hours with him about things other than our veterinary needs, and to be treated this way after all this time is completely unacceptable. We will be taking our dog to Dr. Wong in Miami from now on, but this breaks our hearts to be treated this way by someone that was so important to us. The inconvenience factor of driving another 6 hours to Miami is nothing compared to the disgusting treatment of their patients at this facility.

First visit was great. Staff was friendly & prompt. Dr Levine was great with us and Chief (Yellow Lab) . If your animal needs help of this kind don't look any further. You won't be able to find anyone in the area as knowledgeable that cares more.

Dr. Chris Levine immediately made a positive impression as soon as he entered the consultation room. Dr. Levin got right down on the floor with my baby girl "Roxie", who is a Jack Russell. He put himself right on the same level as Roxie and that made her very comfortable even though she was in pain. Dr. Levin explained what he saw prior to getting an MRI, after the MRI was complete he brought me in to explain what he saw and the aggressive treatment plan we were going to pursue. The technicians were very professional and that made me comfortable knowing Roxie would be spending a few nights for observation. I would highly recommend Dr. Levin and his staff to anyone willing to getting an MRI or needing a neurologist to care for their pets.
