At Specialty Natural Medicine our goal is to provide options to your health care that include both conventional treatments (prescription medications) and integrative or naturopathic medicine (nutritional medicine/diet/plant medicine)

Our Doctors offer decades of experience in Integrative Family Medicine.

We provide a unique desensitization immunotherapy for foods, inhalant allergies, chemical desensitization and auto-immune diseases.

We provide custom Nutritional IV Therapy for a variety of concerns and conditions.

Dr Janel specializes in Digestive Medicine including care for IBS/IBD (Crohn's, Colitis), Reflux, Diverticular Disease.

We offer options for pain management including Biopuncture, Neural Therapy and Massage.

I stumbled upon this place because it is the only naturopath that my toddler's insurance covers that is close to home. We were nervous about the first visit since I couldn't find many reviews about the place. But we were happily surprised: we absolutely love it. Beth doctors don't hate western medicine, but encourage the alternative: diet changes (in our case for asthma, eczema and allergies) and homeopathic remedies. We are overly joyous with our experiences here and would recommend it to anyone in the area (or even out of the area- trust me it's worth it even if it's a long drive from home!) Thank you Dr Kathleen Janel! Oh and the receptionist and other workers there are lovely :) We love them!

Dr. Janel was able to help me with my acid reflux, or so I thought was the problem, as it turns out I had food allergies. I went to several other GI doctors, and none of them even considered that possibility. They only wanted to do an endoscopy and give me Omeprazole. I was in a lot of pain and she solved my immediate problem in one visit! Since then she has treated me for fatty liver, and I no longer have that either. Which is a real blessing as other doctor's have just said there is no treatment for that condition. She is very knowledgeable and willing to give you in depth answers to your specific questions. And if you have a problem with no solution and you have been doing a lot of research trying to find answers that is a very important component, as I had many questions when I finally found someone that could answer them.

Easy to get an appointment time. Good Parking, good price. Very nice staff, very helpful. I will return there again. I wished I had gone sooner instead of of driving downtown Seattle for the last 2 years.

I am one of Dr. Lang's patients and I can honestly say she is the best Doctor I have ever seen. She is kind, easy to talk to and full of great advice. I have never felt rushed unlike most Doctor offices which is an especially good feeling. Happy to have found her and this clinic!

Caring, knowledgeable staff, & beautiful clinic. Dr Janel is very perceptive & after a thorough examination, was able to diagnose my issues & had very helpful alternative treatment recommendations. I am so thankful for relief from my symptoms! Kaela at the front desk was both friendly & accommodating, answering any questions I had readily & intelligently. Must also mention that the office is beautiful! Very relaxing environment. Definitely feel like I am in good hands at Specialty Natural Medicine. Thank you for your wonderful care and expertise!
