Welcome to Kinderhook Lodge, an Illinois bed and breakfast, hunting lodge, special events and retreat center located in picturesque Pike County. Located on the Pikes Peak Ocean to Ocean Highway, the lodge is rich in history.

Story

Looking for a unique business conference center, corporate retreat location, retreat and reunion facility, consider Kinderhook Lodge. Kinderhook Lodge is prepared to accommodate groups and gatherings of all kinds. We have packages for two to fifty guests. All our lodges can be privately booked for large or small groups.

We recently stayed at the lodge for the weekend and absolutely loved it!  We have a crew of kids, but we didn't feel like we had to walk on eggshells at all.  The owner joined us for breakfast, and didn't seem at all bothered by the 5 kids we had with us.  The suite we stayed in was beautiful and perfect for a big family!  We loved exploring the trails, and the pond that's going in now.   The recreation room was a great spot to hang out with family and friends and play some games.  The meeting room we used was perfect for our large Thanksgiving family gathering.  The lodge has a pleasant, homey feel, and our kids are already begging us to go back and visit!  The lodge was a mystery to them as we made our trip there, but now that they know what it is, they cannot wait to go back and visit!

Attended a delightful wedding reception here and stayed in the lodge. The owner (and I assume the chef) was very attentive and helpful in answering my food -related questions to see what I could eat on my very restricted diet. The rooms were great, very comfortable. Peaceful location!

We have stayed at the lodge a number of times over the past 3 years and always look forward to coming back. The suites are all lovely with more than enough room to spread out (the suites with lofts are great for families). The setting of the entire place is so restful and the views are fantastic. Whether you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway or a big family reunion, the lodge is the perfect place!

I had my wedding reception here and it was perfect. Andy and Dorinda were accommodating and everything went without a hitch. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Terrific family environment.  Kids have great space to play inside and outside.  Clean and tidy and I personally loved hearing the trains throughout our stay.
