Family owned and operated since 1984 - Spring Lake Marina offers a quiet, friendly place for boaters and campers to get away from their hectic day-to-day lives. We are a full service marina and RV park with over 65 boat slips, 14 seasonal RV sites as well as one of the widest selections of rental power boats on the Chain O’ Lakes.

I have lived in Chicago 15 years and just learned about these lakes. It's the "Key West of the Midwest" as the marina owner here said. Great boat and super well maintained. Very easy to do business with, from the online booking to checking in to returns. Honest and trustworthy family run business. We got the 24' pontoon with a 115 hp motor for 5 hours and it worked well for tubing and general cruising. The different lakes are fun and easy to navigate and there are plenty of places to drop anchor and chill out. Renting a boat is always pretty expensive but a lot cheaper than owning a boat! We will come back the Spring Lake Marina again for sure.

Had a fantastic experience with these guys from the booking system right through to the end. Booking is done online so you can easily see availability. We booked the deck boat for 5 adults and 2 kids. On the day of the rental the weather started really bad. We had an 11.30am booking, called at 10am, they said we could push back up to 2 hours or take a rain check for up to a year. I thought this was great service and we took advantage to take the 2 hour delay. The rental start was quick, good instruction, awesome boat. It was like brand new, very clean. Return was easy, extra $16 for gas. Everyone had an awesome time.

This place is a scam. Just like the previous review from Edith B said. A group of 10 of us rented a pontoon on 8/12/2017. We drove it just fine for 4 hours and when we got back they claimed we messed up the motor and charged everyone in our group $114. And nobody in our group saw anybody inspecting the motor. Im not sure if they thought we had money because we were all dressed up since we were celebrating my birthday and another friend's birthday. Or they simply do this often since the "office" is technically someone's house. So a scam? Most definitely. Beware! You may end up pulling out $114 from your pockets or even more if there are less people in your group. This company is not suitable for bigger groups, they really know how to scam people!!!

I was with 10 other people. We rented a pontoon. When we got back they charged EACH of us $115 because the motor supposedly got messed up. I don't know why they did that. They charged us within minutes of us getting off. I did not see anyone inspect the boat. My friends did not want any problems so we ended up paying. I don't support any business like this. It is unfair.

Took out their speed boat. The instructions were clear, the boat was well-maintained and the service was first rate. Will be back.
