It was just okay. I was pretty sure it said beach front, but it's just beach side. The rooms are outdated but clean. When we arrived the air conditioning wasn't running at all in our room and for a moment it was sweltering while we figured out if the air worked or not. The pool area was very nice. Our stay was okay. Nothing amazing to report, but also nothing horrible. Good for a one night stop.

Location was great as far as the beach goes. The breakfast...you could have brought your own from home and did better. The room was ok but not worth the money we spent and smelled OLD. We added an air freshener to get rid of the smell. The bed was comfy.

Awesome place. Great service and a great deal for the area. Hot tub in the room. Really want to stay lol.

The hotel its self was fine, besides the floor turning our feet black when we would get out of the shower. The problem was the rude "management". There appeared to only be two people that worked there and they behaved as if we were unwelcome and were invading their home. We asked for another pillow and were told we had enough, which led to my mother "who has medical issues" not being able to sleep all weekend. We asked for clean towel and all we got was a rude response, luckily I brought beach towels. The complementary breakfast included stale cereal and warm watered down milk! We will not be going back!

Very budget hotel with old worn-out spring mattresses as my husband said "they have better mattresses at Goodwill" . The room was quiet. The carpet appears old and disintegrating. There is no view of the water. It is Not on the beach.. it is barely Beachside. The hotel towels are very overused dingy and frayed edges. See pxs. There are enough towels for a small child or petite adults but not if you are wet.  I tossed all night and woke up with significant back pain as did my husband. The room was clean but outdated with mismatched but functional furniture. The bathrooms are small and outdated but clean. The pool is small but neat deck area a bit cloudy water. We took a swim prior to check out and it was nice. No towels at poolside. You have to check them out at the front desk. I asked about Breakfast and was told no there is coffee in the room . I found out in the morning at check out that there was breakfast in the lobby. When I asked about breakfast I was told "you paid with a coupon and you don't get the breakfast" (read other reviews about the cereal glorious breakfast.) I have stayed at other area hotels and usually use a coupon or book thru priceline etc and have never been denied the breakfast or good towels.  Ok.. Heres the fun part. When I requested a later than 11 a.m. check out I was told "it's $15 an hour after 11 a.m." (by the way their clock is set 10 minutes faster than my cell phone) . I asked the woman at front who do I complain to about the bad bed.? She immediately begins chastising me "well you used a coupon no one ever complains about this room even when they pay 150 a night. We have rooms $100 to $300 here and no one ever complains about anything". Well I assure you that is incorrect because I read several reviews on this particular hotel and my husband and I really questioned if we wanted to stay here even for the $60 rate.  The woman who was obviously the owner's wife was very rude to me and walked away from me during our conversation.. just left the counter...When I asked her why are you walking away from me when we're speaking "oh I'm not walking away I'm just opening this other door". I had enough of her rudeness and I told her I would complain to several online sites such as TripAdvisor Google and anyone else that I'm a registered Local Guide.  I left and got 20 feet away and she started complaining again about my asking about the amenities and this great hotel that they have at which point I turned around and came to her and said I thought we were done speaking. If you want to talk to me talk to me to my face not behind my back when I'm 20 feet away from you. She has a lot to learn about customer service and appropriate communication techniques (I say she's the owner's wife because I'm pretty sure she is) she tells me "she just works here and has no idea of how to get in contact with anyone that I would complain to directly at the hotel"..like the managers email or the hotel email Etc. I'm going to go out on a limb and state I believe they put lousy towels in the budget room because you might upgrade to their "better rooms/suites". I can't believe they have this  poor grade of ammenities and someone would actually pay $300 per night... They were rude and Extremely unprofessional for being in the hotel hospitality service... Additional beach info; You have to walk approximately 15 minutes to get to the beach but it is an easy walk one block south. There's a public beach access with a beautiful Boardwalk which is a couple hundred yards long to get down to the beach. ( if you're a newcomer this beach is not really swimmable it has very heavy waves and surf) great for wading and dipping your feet.....
