I love St. Mary's Hospital! It is close to home and I always have a positive experience when I go there (and I have been in various units of the hospital.) I went in for a lumbar puncture and the doctor who performed the procedure was absolutely wonderful. He was funny, tried his best to ease my nerves and was successful! Post procedure staff was also kind and accommodating while having to stay in the hospital for 3 hours after the procedure. This was a particularly pleasant experience I will always remember! This will always be my hospital of choice!

These nurses here violated hippa asking me my private health information and my social and everything in front of a male patient they had me in a room with I am beyond disgusted with this hospital then when I stepped outside of the room the nurse tells me I have to go back inside because it’s a hippa violation I said are you kidding me after you just violated my privacy besides there are beds out here anyway there is no privacy what so ever this is my first and last time here and I will report these nurses I also over head the nurses talking and I heard one say that she was trying to get fired big red flag to me. I just can’t help but wonder what is she willing to do to get fired and why would you even say that so unprofessional. I wouldn’t want someone like that taking care of me ever.

One doctor in er for the most busiest time of day. Poor management. Came in at 10:30am didn't get seen til way past 1pm. Watched a women come in at 11:30 and leave at 12:30 after jumping the line. So unprofessional. Please go anywhere but here for ER needs.

My son & I had to be seen at the ER at St. Mary's in Troy, NY yesterday. I at the time have been sick for 8 days. 8 miserable days I also had to work in this condition. The painful pressure in my head, sinuses, jaw,, neck and chest. All I could do is pray to feel better. My son unfortunately got sick from me and is only in the beginning of whatever this super strength head, chest, throat and sinus infection is. NEVER HAVE I BEEN THIS SICK. Anyhow there was 2 ER nurses that were amazing. The one with her upbeat positive personality and the other listening carefully to understand me and my son. One name was Sarah and the other was Catherine. They were amazing!! Thank you both.

My son was born at St. Mary's 11 yrs ago and we had a great experience, so when I had an emergency of my own this morning I went into their ER department and was greeted by a woman at the window who immediately started helping me and got me to the next room quickly. The nurse that I saw and Dr. Holterman were courteous, professional and made my visit there very comfortable. The ER was very busy all morning but everyone from the first person I saw, x-rays, nurses and Doctors, made my emergency alot more comfortable to go through. Thank you very much for all that you guys do everyday.
