Educational Philosophy:
As Catholic Educators, we provide an educational environment where lifelong learning is a shared responsibility among students, teachers, administrators, parents/guardians, and the parish community. We believe that parents/guardians are the primary educators of their children; teachers help them by facilitating the students’ learning. We promote Catholic values, teachings, and practices at school and encourage families to do the same at home. With the parents/guardians and school working together, we provide the best opportunity for children to develop into active Christians. To achieve this end, we hope to create a safe, loving, spiritual environment in which each student’s dignity is respected.

We believe in educating the whole person. Intellectual, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of the student are nurtured through the practice of service, compassion, love, and respect. Teachers must not only instruct students but also inspire them to reflect upon the message of the Gospel in their daily lives.

In our commitment to provide a sound academic program, students must become effective communicators and self-evaluators. It is vital that the education students receive is based firmly on the principles of learning and effective instruction, and is designed to meet the diverse learning styles of children. We strongly believe that when we teach children to have a love of learning it will allow a discovery of the wonders awaiting them.

Our experience at St. Vincent's has been extremely positive. We chose this school five years ago for several reasons: strong academics, Catholic education, and a sense of community. The school administration, teachers, and fellow families have all positively reinforced our decision and we are so happy to remain here. Any concerns we've had have been very quickly addressed by teachers as well as administration with open minds and thoughtful communication. Our daughter has also had so much fun discovering new sports in such a supportive environment.

Our family have been a part of St. Vincent's Parish Church and School for the past 9 years. Our son and daughter have benefitted from the child care enrichment and school programs for the majority of their lives. We have found that St. Vincent's is more than a school. St. Vincent's is a community, offering the fellowship, support, reassurance, and care that is rare to find in many schools. It mentors our children. The skilled, compassionate staff nurtures their academic as well as social, physical, emotional, and spiritual development. In addition, we appreciate the focus on service - modeled by the administration, encouraged amongst parents and families, and practiced by the students and whole school community.

We have had a great experience at St. Vincent's and highly recommend this school. The teachers here are nurturing and kindhearted while providing solid academic challenges and appropriate expectations. The school has fostered independence and initiative for our boys in a community environment where parents and staff have become our friends. We feel lucky to have found this school!

We are thrilled with our experience at St. Vincent's. From early child care at Nano Nagle, to the elementary school, as well as utilizing the extended care after school we have extensive experience with the administration, curriculum, philosophy and families. The school's genuine approach to addressing all of a child's needs and nurturing them in their education, spirituality and overall being is the primary reason we love this school. In addition to the great education they are receiving my kids are benefiting from multiple extra-curricular school sponsored activities including Mad Science, after school-ski program, band, and basketball just to name a few. Lastly, the school has a great community of parents, extended family, friends and volunteers (and teachers and administrators) that create an environment that is fun and inviting!

Our family has been part of this school sense the beacon of God himself. When I was told I was of royal family I knew that this was the place for me. I would NEVER go anywhere else. My superstitions lead me airy but I know that life will help me see the true life of my lord and savior JESUS CHRIST. I enjoy my lover whom is also a part of the catholic community. If I were to say three words about this school I would say "Teachers are super duper". The persons that dislike this school are weirdos. If someone says "I dislike St. Vincent's" I will say, "No Way!" As a member of Royal Family I can tell it is a quality school based on everyone's bone structure which reflects how well the bricks were put on. Good Fellas! I Love You All!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
