Gift shop and info center has interactive displays. And has varied selection. Museum is easy to walk and informative. Living farm is cool.Has walking trails to every historical building.

Nice facility. Museums are well staffed and provide lots of information for Texas history. You have to pay extra for the Star of the Republic but it is worth it. Nice grounds at Washington on the Brazos.

We visited the museum without knowing much about Texas's history (being English), and found the museum to be excellent value for money and well done. It also looked like there were good fun activities for kids.
