I just wrote a big review so I'll keep this one short.  No upsell.  you heard right.  He only recommends needed treatment to save you money.  I love it.  I had to beg him to fill in this notch that was bugging me but he said I didn't really need it and he didn't want to charge me for it. He originally said, "we'll keep an eye on it." Name me one other dentist in san diego or la mesa that doesn't jump at the chance to do some easy service he can charge you for.
His prices are very fair.  I've tried a few dentists since my new plan came out a couple of years ago and he is the cat's pajamas! :-)  In all seriousness I wanted a dentist close to my house in La Mesa and I wanted someone honest and good.  He fits the bill perfectly.  Also he has years of experience and is the master of giving you a shot for pain that you barely feel.  That right there is my number one reason!  Ok that is subjective but there are some dentists that don't know this stuff.  Thanks Dr. Steinberg.
