First of all, the only good review of this company was from Robert, an employee. This was the worst property management company we have ever dealt with. If there was one word to describe them it is ROBBERS. The day we moved into our rental the place an absolute mess. They took no care into making sure it was clean. They sent cleaners that did a lousy job and resulted in us scrubbing the place down so it could be livable. We called and asked to have them take care of a broken closet door to which they came out looked at, said they would fix it, and never did. Then when we moved out they blamed that issue on us and charged us for it. Additionally, we paid a $700 non-refundable pet deposit and $50 per month for our dogs. One of our dogs had chewed some on the bottom corner of the island. We were told that NONE of the money we paid toward that deposit or per month would go towards that fix and that it would cost several hundred dollars to fix. We told them we would fix it ourselves. We asked several people within the company what type of paint/color/brands they use so we could make it match. We were told verbally that they didn't have the paint and if our paint colors were a little bit off it would be okay. We fixed the corner for $22 and it looked as if nothing had happened. But when we received our "deposit" back they had taken out $200 because "it wasn't the right sheen." And despite us taking over 12 hours to clean the place prior to moving out and it looking far better than it did moving in, they claimed it was dirty. They said there was hair in the sink when there was 1 short, barely visible hair in there. It was a nightmare dealing with this company and I would advise everyone, whether they are renting or doing real estate to go elsewhere unless you want to be ripped off.

We are halfway into a lease with Stonebrook and it's been a bad experience. Communication is sparse, you have to hound them via phone or email get any info. Good luck if your rental unit needs maintenance, they push it back on the owner (ours is Jeff and he's terrible) and then nothing gets done between the two of them. I noted that our apartment had a bad smell at move in, that was disregarded. The smell is worse, there's water leaking out of the walls and ruining clothes in our closets, the neighbors have an average of 10+ visitors from midnight to 4 am... It's not ideal.

During the short period of time working for Mr Aaron Haaga, I noticed some serious issues going on within this company. He employed me because I knew his assistant, Kelly Oaks. My position was changed multiple times, not due to lack of skills nor mistakes. Aaron was all over the place so to say. He was not very organized nor helpful during training, and that goes for all three employees. They did not have an accountant during the time I was employed there so things were very messy ALL THE TIME. I was told to do a task a certain way then told I did it wrong three days later. He was constantly changing everyone’s positions and changing the way things were “done” I also seen how he and my fellow coworker, Kody Kondie, treated renters. Kody was rude, short, didn’t care of their issues, and evicted as many people as he possibly/legally could. Over half of the renters would call to complain about not being called back by Kelly or Aaron with the issues that were emailed multiple times. I would end up having to fix half these issues or personally have to reach out to vendors to get maintenance issues resolved in a timely manner because Kelly wasn’t available. Aaron also called all of his property owners that he did business with “crazies and nut jobs” behind their back. He also stated that “I tend to draw in whack jobs for owners and employees” He was very disrespectful and degrading. After many position changes Aaron promoted me to their leasing agent and social media director. Aaron fired me a week after being "promoted" for “not doing my job properly”, also that was right before Christmas. Which I personally disagree. I worked my butt off at this place just to be treated poorly daily. When I would ask for help from Kody I would either get “WHAT!!” With a dirty look or an eye roll. I personally feel I was not trained properly and voiced that multiple times to Kelly. I also was called names by Kody daily and had to complain about it. Aaron claimed to be a holy LDS man, who swore, lied, cheated his clients, unkind, and many many other so called sins. Whenever a issue/new task was brought up I noticed Kelly his assistant would give me those issues/tasks to do (when Aaron gave her the task to do) with me not having any time to get anything done because of the overload of work and lack of work from Kelly, they gave me because Kelly was “too busy” or had to do “church things with my kids” or just wasn’t there half the time. I was accused of losing paperwork once and later found those “lost” papers in Kelly’s desk where they were suppose to be. And this happened multiple times with Kelly. I personally feel I was fired because Kelly blamed me for half the issues. Aaron’s bipolar, schizophrenic sister came into the office one day. (At the time I had only met this woman once and was told to “stay away from her and she’s not suppose to be in the office” and nothing else) she walked up to me and I greeted her with kindness and asked how she was. She said "good" and look me dead in the eye and said “You’re a f***ing w****!!!” and said that to me 2 more times and laughed and walked away. I was personally scared and offended. I had no idea why this happened. I reported this to Kelly and his sister was no longer able to come into the office. I could honestly go on and on about multiple issues about working for, renting from, and doing business with this company. It was far from a healthy environment and I hope no one will EVER have to go through what I went through with this company.

Great until I moved out. Honestly, they have some shady practices. Unit was ok for cost, mantience was timley and the people that work there aren't bad people. Their leases definitely leave room for interpretation. Maybe if they update their leasing practices it would be ok, but expect to get charged a cleaning fee upon move out for normal wear and tear (which is illegal). And it's for a cleaning all units get when someone moves out, which is good to know how they pay for that. Hopefully they improve soon or I can see their practice being closed. Just not professional in the long run and as a tenant they put themselves at the advantage on paper. Kody and his team need a refresher course on tenant rights before they get shut down. Also, when i returned keys to them they asked me to give them a five star review. I almost did because I professionally had the unit clean and didn't expect to loose any deposit and I'm still out 98% of a deposit. They never provided a move in inspection, and I didn't expect them to do one when I moved out. I'm sure glad I waited!

My wife and I are very upset with this HORRIBLE property management company. We had rented a house in Salt Lake that was under private owners for over 2 years, and our landlords decided to hire Stonebrook to take over the property management. Stonebrook said they would come in and inspect the house to make sure everything was up to par (which never happened). Months later we decided to move out of that house, and now Stonebrook is trying to nail us for repairs that we're not responsible for. If they came and inspected the house like they said they would, than things would be different. We moved into that house in almost the same condition we left it. We also had Dominion Energy come inspect the house before we moved out, and sure enough there was a carbon monoxide leak as well as a gas leak. The landlords didn't install the furnace or the water heater properly. Which is a huge liability for Stonebrook since they never inspected the house when they took it over. We are fortunate enough to not have any injury... Stonebrook will not take any responsibility for or anything. They are trying to get over $2000 out of us and we have no choice but to pay. I guess tenant rights are non-existent with these guys. This thug-like property management company does not care about their tenants, they only care about making money and whatever is in their own interest. DO NOT USE THEM!
