Always a pleasure with this neighborhood bar!!! They consider us family at this point!! Lee is an amazing bartender and all the patrons are kind and amazing. The drinks are on point and a healthy pour. Amy has worked her over 17 years and Lee is hands down the best!! Restroom are snug but clean, Remington hotel is next door so a plus on booking a room. Checkout Lee and Amy, let them know Louis and Tammy sent you! One of the tops featured in @SB magazine!! Congrats!!!!
The ramen served Thurs - Saturday nights is amazing. A popular late night food hangout place, the wings, dumplingsgyoza and ramen are all delicious, cooked fresh with fresh, high quality and unique ingredients. Their recipes are truly one of a kind, and each bowl is made fresh. Although the prices are a little high, the food quality and the atmosphere make it well worth it. The only somewhat downside is the food is made and served outside in the back patio area, and they occasionally run out of food early on busy nights
Truly a gem in Shreveport, Louisiana. Lee is the man to see. He can make any drink you can imagine, perfectly. No one can even compare to him or the vibes this bar gives. You just simply feel at home. Highly recommend. 10/10 head out to the patio to enter a new world and check out Ghost Ramen who is here Thursday- Saturday. You can thank me later.
Really good Ramen. When I’m doing just go for the Yakamein or Chiken Shoyu.
Everyone I asked says the Stray Cat is the best bar in Shreveport. There is a cool patio and a hopping late night scene.
The place is nice the staff is great! only problem I've seen there is the Shreveport police like to camp out there. and I've seen them harassing some people as they leave.
Wow okay. I’ve been coming to this bar since I turned 21. I’m 27 now. A female answered your phone and unfortunately I was driving through woods so the call got dropped. I called back, and she said “like when you HUNG UP” she yelled “I’m the only one working today” I apologize multiple times for the dropped call. But she kept saying I hung up. If I had hung up, why would I have called back immediately? She was beyond rude. I’ve never met her before and couldn’t believe this wonderful bar would hire someone SO AWFUL to a stranger over the phone. I love this bar, I hope she can be talked to. Y’all shouldn’t lose business over a rude “bartender.”
Very welcoming, very fun. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend checking them out. Adam, Moe and Amy were awesome! Good crowd and trivia night is a blast!
The bar itself is cool enough and relaxing like others have said. The bar top is a cool roughed up copper tacked down with nails, giving it a really nice feel. Beer selection was fine considering the size of the place. Beer was served cold and was asked if I wanted a glass. Service was poor. Even with 6-8 of us in the whole place the bartender stayed at the other side of the bar talking and rarely came down to the other side. Even when the backup bartender came in he was not that much better. The place has a lot of potential and I would even go back to give them another chance...they just need to step it up a notch. PS. The pizza is really not that good. It is like a Red Baron pizza heated up in a small oven next to the bar!
I am in my first 24 hours in Louisiana and Will and Moe have been nothing short or spectacular. I travel a lot and they have shown me in the right direction of where to go locally. They both also make amazing drinks and food!
