We had one of the rudest encounters I have ever had with employees at a restaurant recently at the Subway in Hunt Valley Town Center.  During our visit I witnessed extremely poor customer service being provided to almost everyone who entered the store.  When I tried to refill my drink I was told that refills were not free and would be the same cost as a new drink.  I was truly taken aback at this as free refills for dine-in customers has become the standard and these types of restaurants.  I have dined in numerous Subways and have never paid for drink refills.  This happened after the employee dropped my sub on the floor....no big deal...these things happens and they did promptly make another one, however, I will note that the reason the sub was dropped was because the employee attempted to pull it out of the hot oven using just the paper it was on and not the proper utensils for removing the sub from the oven.  I very rarely encounter service so poor that I feel the need to complain but this really got to me.

This store had horrible customer service last night.  After purchasing a sub and a drink, we went to get a refill and was told refills were not free.  Even though the hours on the door state they close at 9pm , they had already turned off the lights and were turning customers away.  I went to order another sandwich and was told they could not make me anything because they were closed.  I politely informed them it was not 9pm yet, but they said we can't make sandwiches after 8:55pm.  When asked to speak the manager, I was informed he was not there. I asked for his name and number and was told they could not give that out.  I was then told to leave or they would call security on me.  I then said I would like to purchase a coke, I again was told no.  When I asked why, the one girl told the other fine, just let her get one.  The girl that waited on me continued to mumble under her breath but loud enough for me to here, comments about how they don't make the rules.  I have never had such rude and horrible customer service.  I work in customer service myself and would never treat a customer in such a manner.

I have gone to this Subway multiple times and have never had a bad experience. They even gave my boyfriend and I free ear muffs once.
