Unbelievably BAD experience! I WILL GOO ANYPLACE else if another provider is available. I sat in the ER waiting room for 4 hours, then was moved to waiting room number two... where I waited another TWO HOURS... finally got up and walked out! It was faster for me to drive to Springerville ER... got in there and was done in 30 minutes! I WILL NEVER go back to Summit if I can help it! Worst experience I think I have ever had with a "Medial Center"... felt more like a lemonade stand that happens to do triage on the side.

Was taken in for Hypoxia, my O2 levels were in the 70's. Instead of trying to figure out the problem they sent me home with Oxygen for 30 days. The 30 days came and went, they came and took the oxygen machine and O2 tanks to service and refill. That was over a month ago. I bought my own oximeter and my O2 levels are still always 80's and below. When I try to call them they just tell me to follow up with my PCP who is on vacation for the next 2 weeks. This is without a doubt the absolute worst hospital and staff I have ever dealt with in my entire life.

If I could give a zero star I would. Don't go to the er here unless you want to get misdiagnosed, ignored, laughed at, mocked and sent home. Worst bunch of people ever.

The awesome staff took very good care of me when my lung collapsed. I am very grateful that they went out of their way to make a frightening and unexpected event into a relatively pleasant experience. The relativity being that no one likes to be in a hospital. THANK YOU SUMMIT STAFF :)

The er staff could have killed me. I was talken in by ambulance about three months ago. When I got there my wife said they were treating me like i on drugs and told her I was on rug overdoes. She kept telling that was not the case that it was something else. She kept on them and they finally did a MRI and they didcoverd that I had a mass amount of blood on my brain. Things changed fast. There is know one on the staff to do any thing about it. It has been over 24 hours sense I started having simptums at home they get me prepared to get on life flight to valley take of and the life flight breaks down and have to go back to summit get another life flight finally get to saint Joe's hospital after well over 30 hours they took great care of me had brain aneurysm rupture and stroke if my wife would not have been there to make them do something I carry well could would have died the doctor's at saint Joe's said I should not be alive I am marical and no help from summit all they did is give me a ride to the doctor's that could and did help me survive so for that I will give them one star thumbs down
