Went to the ER after a bad fall. I was in and out in less than an hour. The staff was friendly and attentive. They were organized, clean and did everything in order. I spent two months on crutches but the hospital provided me with excellent service and after care and referred me to an orthopedic specialist. I truly believe they went above and beyond compared to other hospitals in different states

I gave 2 stars because the nurses were amazing. They were attentive and accommodating and very kind. I was transferred here from Southern Hills because I needed a urologist. I have a 14 mm kidney stone with an infection. Each day I kept being told the urologist was going to come to see me. Finally he came at 9 pm and I explained my pain and he said he didn't think that my pain was from my stone and that it must be something else. So I continued to wait with no food for days because they kept saying I would have surgery. Finally they called to tell me that the urologist said I was too heavy for the table and he would not do the procedure on me. My main Dr said there is no way I would pass this and he would find a urologist that could help me. They finally told me that I wouldn't be having surgery after a 4 day stay. And I really think that they used my size to refuse treatment, but the fact is I don't have medical insurance and I think that is the real reason. I read on the wall that the hospital isn't supposed to refuse service if you have an emergency situation regardless of insurance. But I guess apparently they do. I wanted to share to hopefully help somebody not go through this. It's pretty scary to know that you can't even rely on a hospital to help when you really need it!!

The visit was okay my nurse at first was a little cold but then lightened up after all was done she became helpful later in the process. One of the check in ladies were snobby and she ignored me when I tried to get her attention for a blanket for my 6 yr old and she did not pay me any attention the nurse did this at first as well, sunrise you could use staff with more compassion and sympathy for their patients.

A shining example of the epitomal worst possible state of the American health care system. For every good apple at Sunrise, there are three bad. A despicable place.

82-year old Mother collapsed at a casino so paramedics took her to this facility. She was never taken to a treatment bay but forced to go back and forth from triage area to waiting area. Took hours before a doctor spoke with family. The providers here often take vital signs and share test results with patients in the waiting area, so everyone there hears everything. When I mentioned HIPAA, they didn't seem to care. The doctor did not communicate with family as requested and finally opted to leave.
