By far the worst hospital I've ever been too, the doctors were slow, rude and completely uneducated. I went there for a lump on my daughters throats that I had discovered and they called cps. I WOULD NEVER harm my child and I'm completely baffled that they think that a lump on her throat was caused by me. They kept us there for two days and wouldn't let me take my daughter home. Everyone was extremely rude and nobody was any help at all. They did tons of tests just to tell us nothing was wrong with my daughter. This hospital had terrible wait time. No one listens and the nurses sit around and do nothing no matter how many time you call them. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to a rock. 0 starts, terrible experience.

On February 4, 2017 I was taken to the ER by my brother for coughing up blood. I was seeing immediately and within 20 minutes I blacked out and come to find out when I woke up 6 days later that I went into cardiac arrest and respiratory failure, but the doctor that was seeing me preform CRP twice and inserted tube inside my lungs to drain out the blood that had leaked into my lungs.. So for me this hospital save my life and I want to thank everyone that was involve with my recovery especially my Dr.. He was a young middle eastern man....

ER is horrible. Just witnessed 2 HIPAA violations and watched an ER RN take an IV out of a patient next to me and discard it in a regular trash can in the ER instead of I biohazard can. Pretty sure that's against regulation in any hospital. Hope the rest of the hospital isn't as bad as this. Will not be returning to this ER ever.

This is the worst place I have been to. Wouldn't take my dog here. I have been here for almost two days now with a daughter that was thrown from a moving car. Shattered both hips and has been waiting for 32 hrs basically in a morphine coma for the pain. And was just told it would be another day in till they could fit her in their schedule because she is stable. They flew her here from another state because of the severity of the breaks and this place is suppose to be the best. Best at what getting you hooked on drugs waiting to provide services. I know my opinion doesn't count for much in the long scheme of things. But as a parent do not let your child be brought here unless you are a glutton for punishment. These people give a bad name to the medical community.

Used to be an employee. I did not receive my W-2 form, so I called to request to have it mailed to me. I was told they dont mail them, and I would have to physically come in to pick it up. When I stated that I am disabled and I would see if family could pick ut up, I wad told only I could get it. If I had a CHECK, fam could get it, but not my W-2. This is yet anothet reason I am so glad I no longer work for UMC. When I was there, they provided no education in my field, and they dont care if a person is disabled..What hospital treats sick people as if we are a burden, and has zero flexibility? Aditionally, I am continually having to call Risk Management regarding the processing of my COBRA payment. Many months, after they cash my check, Im at my doctors office, and have to go thru the embarassment of the receptionist stating that Ive been "Termed" by my insurance. So I stand there and call Risk Management while other patients stare at me like my check must have bounced. UMC was the WORST employer I ever had the misfortune to work for. Thank God Im out if that hell hole.
