This facility is bright Beautiful and well-maintained. Residents receive wonderful care. Catering to the needs of post-acute medical Rehabilitation, Torrey Pines care center provides observation, physical therapy, as well as day-to-day care. Meals are well planned and delicious. A nice variety of snacks are also available at the reception area for all who care to buy a little something sweet or maybe salty. Your choice. It really is a lovely place.

Got hired full time for grave yard and went to the orientation to be told that she gave the full time schedule to another applicant and that she would have to give me some morning and some graveyards. Which is conflicting for me. They wasted my whole day. The department heads was very rude and unprofessional. One of the lady's was swearing the who time. I said good morning to people and they frowned like they hated their job. They are UNPROFESSIONAL and UNORGANIZED!! At The end of the shift I told The dsd that I decline the position due to the fact that i was looking for fulltime for 1 shift.The administrator hung up in my face when I called the following to ask about my check. This place is bad news. Worst experience in life. The building stinks !

I hope this place has gotten a lot better then 10 years ago. My grandpa a veteran was being cared for there I found him on the floor once with two nurses playing on their cell phones also he got malnutrition twice and sent to sunrise hospital. Also once when I was visiting like I did often the nurses wouldn't help this man with two broken legs so I helped him and she yelled at me for getting the man some food!!!! I tried to schedule a meeting with the Director but they said I didn't have Power of attorney over my grandpa so I was not able to schedule a appointment to complain about how they treat people. I pray to God that they have way better employees now and that there actually taking care of people now and listening to all concerns.

I was there in May of 2012 and have no real complaints since I was such a witch from the get-go. The nurses seemed competent and caring despite my attitude. They gave me a shower upon request. The food was no worse than your regular hospital food, and they even brought me a lap top to keep me busy. I also played bingo one day and won 50 cents. Hey, maybe I'll go back :)

Best Care Center ...Amy in admissions was so very helpful with all the paperwork and took a personal interest in making sure that my mom was happy and taken care of....Everyone is happy and cheerful...This is a awesome place to take a loved one.....thanks to everyone at Torrey Pines Care Center...xoxoxox
