Story

We are confident that you and your pets will feel right at home in our office as we welcome all patients as if they were family. Sunshine Animal Hospital opened in Town & Country in January, 1980 at the corner of Waters and Hanley Roads. After expanding, and outgrowing our space we moved to our current location on Waters Ave (1/4 mile west of Hanley Road) in June, 1990. We saw Waters Avenue change from a quiet two lane to a bustling six lane road, and our practice grew as well. We currently employ two veterinarians and thirteen lay staff. We are here to help with any health issues your pets may have. We will see you today if you feel your pet needs immediate care. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Great staff! Very nice and answered all questions. Was in and out very quick! Got my puppy spayed yesterday and she's already bounced back like nothing even happened. No pain. Just wants to play. The doctor did an amazing job! Would definitely recommend this place to others and will be going back myself if I need anything.

First let me advise you all to never give your dogs bones!! I took Bailey to a animal clinic on Sheldon and Hillsborough Avenue because of a Slab Fracture... The estimated bill was going to be $1,500. So I decided to get a second opinion. I took Bailey to Sunshine Animal Hospital the following day. The facility is very nice, super clean and the staff is amazing. For the same procedure they estimated the bill to be around $535. The previous veterinarian wanted to charge for everything, and some things they recharged me over and over but just reworded it differently. Sunshine Animal Hospital did not do that. Dr. Simpson performed the surgery on Bailey. I was worried about putting Bailey under while she performed the surgery since he has a heart murmur. She made me feel very confident that everything would be okay. They called me twice and gave me updates on how Bailey was doing after his surgery. While sitting in the waiting room you can hear all the staff talking to all the pets as if they were their own. I would recommend Sunshine Animal Hospital to anyone! Thanks again Dr Simpson, me and Bailey will see you soon for a follow-up.

Got my dog Luna fixed (Chihuahua) she handled it well and the instructions were clear. The vet themself came out and discussed his observations and gave aftercare instructions.

Great place. Clean building and real professional staff.

Won't be going anywhere else. Thanks guys!

They are great. We have been coming here - On a recommendation - since we moved here last year. They are great, caring and friendly. Just wish they didn't bill for every little thing, especially when they see we are repetitively returning,l mostly for the same reason. But, like I said, mostly happy with them. Hence the 4 stars.

Fast great service, the vet is really gentle with my dog, really good prices for vaccines.
