Good location, close to interstate 40 and restaurants.   Good parking with separate outside entrance doors.   Staff friendly, they even called when they noticed by our comments that we wanted a non smoking room and accidentally booked smoking.   The room was updated with vinyl flooring vs. Carpet and clean.   Breakfast offered gravy and biscuits, cold And hot cereals, fruit breads, Danish coffee and juices.   The reason for the 3 stars was because there was a clump of hair between the sheets even though they appeared fresh.   Either it wasn't seen while making up the bed or just ignored.   Otherwise would have been perfect.

The room reeked of cigarettes when I got there, even though it was "non-smoking" -- FYI they provide you with ash trays in the "non-smoking" rooms as well. There were burn holes in the comforter, blanket and bed sheets and the pillows smelled like smoke. We went to Walmart up the street to literally buy blankets and pillows. I'm a year out of college, so my level of cleanliness needed is surely not as high as some others, and this place was foul. Glad we had some friends nearby so we could chill there and only go to the super 8 to sleep in our newly bought bed set and shower....

When I booked my room I let them know I would not be there until 430am. The day before my arrival I called to confirm reservations and reminded them again I would not be there until 430am. They told me that was fine...Once I got there at 430am, I walked into the lobby, the woman at the counter said you cant be in here. Me concussed, I replied what? She again said nobody can be in here until 630am. I told her I had a room already booked. She rudely told me I had to go outside to the little window and she would bring my paper work to me through the window. Well, if no one can be in the lobby until 630am why was the lobby door unlocked? And maybe they should have told me that over the phone the two time I called. Also, I had booked a smoking room. I'm a smoker. It was completely foul smelling. Air fresheners are needed for smoking rooms. The blankets and comforter had cigarette burns all over. I will NOT be staying there ever again!

It was a fairly comfortable and clean stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No real complaints (especially for the price) just old and a bit worn.

Get room for the price! We had a unexpected trip to St Thomas hospital earlier this week. This super 8 is 4 miles from the hospital and has great customer service. 
Will stay here again
