Pretty fun place to kill some time while on the road. The Elvis themed church was awesome as one could really get a nice gag out of it. It's really fast to explore the entire place but you can get some pretty great photographic shots. Do stay hydrated if you would like to hike the mountain for a bit as they do not have water fountains and will charge you more than usual for some bottled water.

It was nice to learn a little about the gold mining days and see what it might have been like. It was pretty small though overall. But nonetheless definitely worth going to see at least once

Attended Heritage Days @ the museum where we watched beautiful hoop dancing. We also watched a demonstration of the stamp mill. Lots of artisans with beautiful artwork for sale. If you get the chance, don't miss this great little treasure in the desert.

Volunteers are awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable. Looking for free stuff to do, check out their lectures, you’ll learn a lot about AJ (and realize there is more to see and do in the area).

Wow!!! My friend has lived here for over 10 years and never heard of this amazing little treasure. It is free to visit but filled with incredible history. Many priceless authentic old West artifacts along side detailed descriptions for context. I especially enjoyed speaking with the staff, extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer all questions.
