Great location on the beach, but the place needs just a few makeovers. Nothing too extravagant, so the prices don't get out of hand. Secure toilets and tiles in the bathroom. New faucets, the one in our room was very loud and old. More soundproofing between the rooms. I got woken up at 2:30 in the morning with the next door people talking at normal levels. Spotless windows are needed to see the ocean. One of the bed in the room was not secure and very dangerous. The smell of smoke came through the door, gross.

Location is great. Right on the beach next to the boardwalk, shopping, food, and stores. You can walk just about anywhere to get to what you want in less than 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean but could use updating. Most of the hotels here are older anyway so it's close to most others. The rates are low in the off season and on the average for the area in the summer. Would stay here again if staying for less than a week.

On the beach in Carolina Beach! Staff is wonderful, room is clean.  It's quiet in the winter but full of energy in the summer. Within walking distance of bars, restaurants, convenience stores and fishing boats.

We had friends come in for New Year's that stayed here and we hung out at their hotel room. There were cockroaches in the room, the hot water ran out because they ran out of gas and the room was very cold because the only heater was on the air conditioning/heating unit on the wall. We will not be recommending future friends to stay here. I felt bad for them and offered them my space heater so they could stay warm. Granted it was a cold weekend but the room still needed to have a sufficient heating unit.

We absolutely love staying Here! The rooms are clean and well maintained. All the staff are friendly. It's also very affordable and family friendly. The manager Brenda is simply amazing. She is so super friendly and just all around a great person. We are checking out, sadly, we spent one night this time. We've stayed here in the past but I had a hard time getting a reservation this year so we tried another place and it was a huge mistake! So we got up Saturday morning and came straight here. Brenda found is a room within am hour! We are within walking distance of everything and it's just a great stay here!
