It's the end of the summer, will they ever open? Been waiting and no updates at all. A date or even a month of opening would be some consolation. Hopefully nothing is wrong because I really enjoy Sweat Fitness.

EDIT: January 2018, gym is not open. One star for deception and delays over a year with no updates. Definitely a shame.

I joined because I work in center city and it would be convenient for but I have been waiting for months for the opening.  Becoming very frustrated.

Sweat Fitness is absolutely fantastic and upgrades their facilities. Most of these negative reviews are based on the delayed opening, but you cannot blame them for the city of Philadelphia and contractors which I'm sure played a big role...what owner wants to lose revenue?! I look forward lifting at this location as I know it will be a great gym with a prime location in the city.

This place has terrible customer service and will charge you hundreds extra by "forgetting" to close your account when they say they will.  This has happened to me with two different memberships at this place over the course of 6 years or so.  The equipment is mediocre at almost every facility and they are the same price as much nicer gyms in the area.  Please don't make the mistake that I made, don't give them a chance.

My issue with One South Broad is the way the closing was handled. Initially we were told it would close in December and open in January, then in February, then April, then June, they skipped July date all together and said August, then the "End of Summer". It would have been better to be completely honest with gym goers and said "We dont know when we will open" from the beginning, instead they closed and tried to charge some gym goers every month they were closed. Its not the fact they are closed but how they handled the closing and construction thats the issue.
