Sweet Tomatoes is definitely one of the best salad bar restaurants available. There is a wide variety of salad options allowing you to create your salad however you want. Unlike many other salad bar restaurants, the options don’t end there as there are many fresh baked options that allow you to get hot and fresh food like you were at a restaurant. All of their breads, and especially baked potatoes are really good like you would expect from a full service restaurant, if not better. In addition, pricing is very reasonable (as much, if not less) than a full service restaurant, especially for lunch. If you are looking to make your perfect salad, along with treating yourself to fresh bakery items, Sweet Tomatoes is the place for you!

It is good place for eating salad and soup.

The price is okay too.

But considering the fact that vast majority of the customers are Caucasians, the pay is better than average, their job is hardly stressful and most of times laid-back then how come most employees are of the Mexican background?

There are many unemployed and underemployed people from many other backgrounds. Should they be kept out just because the current employees insist only on their way of interacting and enjoying the convenience of switching to their language as they please and therefore refuse tolerating other people with different cultures and mentalities who also need jobs? No?
Then what is the cause?
Of course just because there are many places like this doesn't provide any more excuses for each and every one of them to be like this.

Naturally, if this place was an authentic Mexican restaurant, like Los Reyes the next door, then it would be understandable to have mostly Mexican crew. However Sweet Tomatoes is an American restaurant, operating in the US and therefore it's crew should better reflect all the people of this country.

Great selections of salads and sides. Good healthy lunch option. Met a client there for a business lunch and we both enjoyed it. Quiet enough to talk but crowded enough to be popular

I love having salad and soup here. Its a great place . people who work here are nice and love their job. Food is always exceptional

Food is always fresh with plenty of healthy options. Great beverage choices & dessert options. Staff is always friendly & smiling. Facility is always clean
