Table Mountain Campground (recgovnpsdata)

Well we originaly had reservation for lake campground ( which is in the same area) it was a huge disappointment. Right off the highway. While we were going for firewood we decided to go check out table mountain if we liked it maybe we could find a open spot! Right away I was excited to find a spot! It was exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful views all around! most of the campsites are reall nice! The only draw back is no showers and the vault toilets, which are basically out houses, but they were very clean! Did not really smell! and you can get a portable shower or just wash yourself with soap and water. We were only there for 2 nights but we can't wait to go again!

Nice big hilly campground. We learned NOT to pick a site up close to any ridge top where the wind blows hard at night. Choose a site that is protected from the wind. If your site has a great view it will probably be too windy at night.

It was the worst experience ever. The location is not good for relaxing time. Camping ground or RV (trailer) not a good option as well, because MOST of the day is windy windy windy, it is not way to sleep or rest at night. Restrooms not clean at all. Not fire permitted, at any site. Sites not big enough for two cars. I do not recommend this for a family get away from the city.

I have been the 105 site for three days last weekends, it was extremely windy. One of my steel tarp pole was bended by strong wind. Moreover, the sandy ground on my site made lots of dust, so we were thinking about leaving earlier this campground even though the staff were very kind. Before you go, you should know there is no sink and restroom is a vault toilet.

It's a beautiful place... You have a great view . Nice a windy .. you can smell the fresh air... Loved it!
