Mountain Lakes Resort

Awesome Resort 🏞️, I'm the 3rd generation to have a membership. I remember my grandparents bringing us all in the motorhome, and now 36 years later my brother is bringing his son here to walk the same trails. God bless the people who keep this place running. Great memories here. Great cabins. 🏕️

Visited this campground for the first time with my aunt and uncle a few months ago. This was a really suitable family place within a reasonable commute. The lake was a nice feature and the areas were relatively clean. The only two areas that I'd suggest need addressing would be the cleanliness of the public grills and the product selection of the general store. Being that this is a modestly sized membership resort with a staff versus a huge park with limited or no staff, it doesn't seem to unreasonable to assume that someone could clean the grills occasionally for the two or three you tried appeared to have not been cleaned for months or years. As far as the general store goes, there is virtually nothing there worth buying and the few staples that were on hand were ridiculously priced versus the cost elsewhere. I understand that they may not have the same volume buying power as a major retailer but just an example "a kids' fishing pole" that is $10 at Wal-Mart was $20-25 here. It's hard to see that as anything but excessive and absurd. All in all, this is a cool spot for a quick and local family trip to enjoy the great outdoors without having to travel too far outside the major city area.

We had the best time at Mountain Lakes Resort. Lots to see and do there were family games involving children of all ages. Just relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city was really nice as well. There is quite a bit of opportunity to meet the neighbors and make some friends. There was fishing or just hanging out with your pet. And if you don't have a trailer or an RV they have cabins for rent.

Well, We would have like to have left a solid Review unfortunately I was unable to do so . I made the mistake of filling out a "You could win a camping adventure" flyer at the local U Haul and was contacted three different times by the company.The first two were pleasant. The third time, CINDY contacted Me and my Wife to ask some very private information ...which was very odd just to camp at a campground ? Keep in mind we already have Reservations in April.... the last question was "Do you make over sixty thousand a year?" Being none of their business, I answered "No" and immediately was told "Sorry, our promotions are only available for sixty thousand or more income" ..."but we will keep your information." Does this mean April is off ? Honestly, we are very upset! We were so exited after reading the reviews and planning our trip to have this kind of interaction.....

Nice friendly people, larger than normal rv spaces, beautiful scenery. This facility has all the popular amenities. We were amazed how quite it is here. This place is family friendly and although we haven't tried it yet, we hear the fishing is good.
