Went here for the snow. This is the first good stop up the mountain for parking, open area, and some good sled runs. Just make sure you dress warm and arrive before 9am. The road up gets really packed.

Nice spot for car camping. Next to the road to Mt Baldy ski lift,  so can be a bit noisy

Avoid this place after fresh snow on a holiday. Insane amount of traffic with nowhere to park. Everyone bringing the kids up to play in the snow made it a zoo.

Its ok only bad thing no bbq only gas stoves as of right now at least.and with a permit

Great location if you plan to hike Mt Baldy! Reserve early, it books fast! Plan for colder weather than you might expect. The altitude makes it significantly cooler than the rest of the LA area.
