This place is BEAUTIFUL!!! One of the best hiking trails I've seen. There's plenty of tree coverage for shade while you're walking, none of the path is too steep, but a fairly gently incline. There's a stream that peeks on and off through the trees next to the trail. It's a wonderful place. I love to bring my dog and boyfriend to hike. You need the adventure pass to park, but it is well worth it for the scenery.

This is one of my favorite trails. The trail is clean considering how many people come here for a hike. The tree coverage is very pleasant. There is a stream that meanders about next to the trail. I definitely recommend it.

All around wonderful hike. The only thing that was a slight issue at times was the traffic on the trail. One path up and one path down.

Best hiking in so cal, main problem is there are just too many people. It has gotten so popular it is not enjoyable. People are rude and disrespectful when they visited then mountains. I love Mt Baldy, it's where I grew up! But when the visitors come from other mountain three mountain turns in to a zoo! Please if you go - be respectful and clean up after yourself!!!

The trailhead is good to hike Icehouse Canyon, Mt Ontario, Peak Cucamonga. Wilderness Pass is required in order to park the car.
