Decent fast "mexican" food at a still decent price. Reasonably fast service, friendly workers, and the restaurant was pretty clean. The bathroom was a different story; smelled so bad from the outside,  was afraid to enter.  That's not necessarily their fault,  although I hope they cleaned it! Easy in and out location off hwy 111. Gone are the glory days of taco bell from high school; but it's still there and it's really still not bad for the money.

Don't get me wrong I really love the food.  Whenever I have my son it's our favorite place for dinner. Tonight we walked in and it was 109 degrees outside and 109 degrees inside. #1 The workers were sweating and when you walk In as a guest you instantly start sweating as well. The poor girl taking out the trash could barely breathe.  Totally unhealthy and unsanitary for corporate to keep it open in these conditions. I've been in restaurants for 15 years and actually my first job was Taco Bell and I've never seen such sadness on the faces of the  crew working in La Quinta .CA.  If you can't get the A.C. Fixed in 120 degree weather close the restaurant and don't make your crew continue working until it's fixed. .  The health department will agree with me.

Quick friendly service, always clean. I'd sure like to know the person who thinks up the new menu items. There's something new every time I visit. This time it was the potato-reto, and the double chalupa.
